2006-10-10Podcast: Intranet Design, interview with Marcin Sikorski, Gdansk University of Technology
In this interview, Marcin Sikorski talks about Intranet design, and how that differs from regular web page design. He works at Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Management and Economics, as a lecturer and scientist. He works with usability of web based systems. He also does consulting work in usability for software houses and end companies, such as banks. His background is in industrial process control systems, he holds PhD in human reliability and currently works as an associate professor in the Department of Ergonomics. 2006-06-27Podcast: Interview with Russ Weakley, Max Design
Russ Weakley has worked in the design field for over 18 years. During the last 9 years, Russ has focused on web design, through his business Max Design. He is also the web designer for the Australian Museum. Russ is also the author of the book "CSS in 10 minutes", which is one of the books used in our course in web publishing (The swedish translation has the title "Komma igång med CSS").

In this podcast, Howard Rheingold shares his views on web publishing. He gives his view on current issues for web publishing, and how the web has changed in the last few years.Howard Rheingold is one of the foremost authorities on the social implications of technology. Over the past twenty years he has traveled around the world, observing and writing about emerging trends in computing, communications, and culture. One of the creators and former founding executive editor of HotWired, and founder of the Electric Minds online community. He has also served as editor of The Whole Earth Review, editor-in-chief of The Millennium Whole Earth Catalog, and on-line host for The Well. Howard is the author of several books, including The Virtual Community, Virtual Reality, Tools for Thought and more recently SmartMobs.com in conjuction with his book SmartMobs. Currently, Howard teaches Digital Journalism at Stanford University, and he also teaches Participatory Media at Berkeley, and is a non-resident Fellow at the Annenberg Center for Communication.
