The course is divided into to two parts:
- lab assignments
- a mini project
You will be working in pairs during both the lab assignments and the mini project. Unless there are special circumstances, you should work together with the same partner for both parts. The work should not be partitioned between the students in a group and both students should be able to present the work the group submits.
Before submitting a lab assignment, the student group should present their work to their assigned TA.
The lab assignments have two difficulty levels, basic and advanced. To be eligible to recieve the course grade of VG, students have to pass each lab assignment on the advanced difficulty level.
The mini project is assessed based on the folowing
- an oral presentation of the project and the project results
- a short project report
- submission of code and other resources produced during the project
- Upon passing the lab assignments on the basic difficulty level and aquiring a passing grade for the mini project, the student will be awarded the grade G for the course.
- Upon passing the lab assignments on the advanced difficulty level and aquiring a passing grade for the mini project, the student will be awarded the grade VG for the course.
