ABSTRACT = {This paper reports our experiences of applying Lexical-Functional Grammar (LFG; Bresnan, 1982) to Swedish grammar construction. The first part of the paper contains a short presentation of the LFG framework, and the second part discusses the division of labour between categorial rules and functional schemas with respect to morphology and the treatment of idioms. It is argued that categorial rules should be used to a larger extent than is done presently, both for reasons of descriptive adequacy and parsing efficiency. The paper is written in Swedish.},
