How to setup your wireless network

Please make sure that you setup both your wireless network card and your network configuration.

Setting up the wireless network card

  1. Set you network type to Access Point.

  2. Set the network name to "RTCSA".

  3. No encryption is needed.

Setting up the network configuration

Allow for obtaining the IP address and DNS server address automatically.

If you are using Windows, follow these steps:

  1. Note that you need to write down your network configuration before reconfiguring.

  2. Right-click on "My Network Places" on the desktop.

  3. Choose "Properties" and double-click on your wireless network connection (see device name).

  4. Double-click on "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)".

  5. Choose "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
