This archive contains an incremental list of research reports as published e.g. as departmental reports. The idea is to offer a possibility of making such reports available to researchers in this field in a significantly faster way than through ordinary journals, but still in a documented fashion so that the date of appearance is well defined. Also, the conventional, confidential peer review preceding publication is here replaced by a mechanism for public review after publication. The archive provides space for two kinds of commentary: reviews and opinions about one particular article, and broader reviews of articles in a given area or approach.
The structure of the archive is as follows. Each author submitting an article is required to submit electronic files with the following contents:
For each month, there is news file containing links to articles that have been submitted during that month, and to commentary which were received during the month.
