We announce the following open positions at PELAB (which are possibly subject to pending funding decisions):

• Announcement of 1 PhD student position in Research in compiler back-end technology, especially advanced algorithms for integrated global code generation and optimization for instruction-level parallel, embedded and multicore processor architectures (OPTIMIST-project) at the Research Group for Compiler Technology and Parallel Computing at PELAB, Prof. C. Kessler. Deadline 22/2/2010.

• Announcement of 1 PhD student position in performance-portable parallel programming of heterogeneous multicore architectures (EU project PEPPHER), at the Research Group for Compiler Technology and Parallel Computing at PELAB (Nov 2009), Deadline 4 december 2009
