Cognition and Interaction (COIN)
The research in our group has as a common denominator an interest in Cognition and Interaction or communication, both with artifacts and other people. We not only study cognition in the wild, but also develop artifacts for the wild, i.e. artifacts to be used and studied in real life settings.
Our research has two foci, distributed cognition in everyday environments and virtual pedagogical agents, but also work in other areas of cognition and interaction. To learn more please visit the descriptions of the different research areas found in the menu to the left.
The Cognition and Interaction group at the Department of Computer and Information Science is not the only Cogonitive Science research group at the university. We are a part of the larger network of Cognitive Science research at Linköping University.
