Publications at IDA
IDA has published technical reports until the end of 1996.
From 1997 and onwards, the department uses a combination of a
publication register and publication by
Linköping University Electronic Press.
The following is an overview of these types of publications
and of how they are (re-)presented in the web structure.
The Departmental Technical Reports (--1996)
The techreport menu items lead to annual listings of the
titles and abstracts of departmental technical reports from 1985
to 1996. The full text of the articles are available electronically
for many of the later-year reports. Note that although many of the journal
and conference articles by IDA authors appeared as tech reports,
many also did not. The list of tech reports is therefore not a complete
account of research results at IDA.
LinEP Series for Computer and Information Science (1997--)
The Linköping University Electronic Press publishes articles
and conference proceedings, in particular in its series "Computer
and Information Science". Many (but not all) contributions in this
series are from IDA authors.

The Publication Register (1995--)
The IDA publication register is a nearly complete list of journal
and conference articles that have been written and published by
researchers at IDA. It also contains links to on-line copies of those
articles, wherever those on-line copies may be located. (This may be
on the author's homepage, or in the LinEP, the CoRR, or the
web server of the journal publisher). The register is intended for
all articles that have been accepted for publication after
international peer review. Occasionally it also includes other
quality research articles. It presently contains the full set of
articles published (or accepted for publication) since July 1, 1995.
Comprehensive annual listings are obtained clicking the respective
year in the menu to the left. There are also separate lists for each
of the department's research laboratories, containing the subset of
articles where at least one of the authors is/was in the lab in
question.
Most author names in the publication register listings
are clickable, and lead to the author's www home page. From there,
one can sometimes find an on-line copy of the article, even if it
is not linked directly in the register page. If the
author name is not clickable, then either he/she doesn't have a
home page, or the database doesn't yet know about it. In the
latter case, please consult the respective laboratory and its
member list via the
list
of laboratories at IDA.
