Guidelines for PhD- and licentiate thesis
- - Supervisor/student informs CUGS at an early
stage in the planning of the thesis defense and ensure that curriculum
requirements are fulfilled (a dialogue with the director, professor Nahid Shahmehri, should be
initiated).
- - Include CUGS logo and acknowledgement text in the thesis. The
logo
should be on the title page inside the cover. The
logo (blue logo with black text if the thesis is color-print,
otherwise, the black logo with black text), can be downloaded here. An
acknowledgement saying "This research work was
funded in part by CUGS (the National Graduate School in Computer
Science, Sweden)."
should be included.
- - Student sends abstract, title, time and date of the defense to
CUGS for further dissemination (at least four weeks before defense).
Also, the student should provide a link/pdf file to the final version
of the thesis.
- - Student sends 2 copies of the printed thesis to Anne Moe, CUGS.
Guidelines for research papers
Research papers/articles published by CUGS students, that are members
of
funded CUGS modules (see
http://www.ida.liu.se/ext/cugs/ModuleList.shtml if you uncertain about
your status), should include an acknowledgement ("This research work
was funded in part by CUGS (the National Graduate School in Computer
Science, Sweden).").
