This website is presently in draft form awaiting final review. Some of the pages shown here are mere placeholders and will not be retained by the system for recording the version history of each constituent webpage as shown e.g. at the bottom of this page.
This website contains web-publications on open access in the form of articles, memos, and web pages that address selected aspects of the broad topic of open access. It is intended as a resource for OpenAccess.se, the development program for open access that is organized by the Royal Library in Sweden. I hope, however, that the contents of the site will also be of use for open-access activities in Swedish universities and otherwise.
The OpenAccess.se program operates during years 2006 and 2007. The present website, called COAR, is anyway organized for persistence, so that it shall be able to function for a much longer period of time. Visitors are encouraged to link to the site as a whole and to its constituent pages on specific topics. Please click the 'Persistence' item in the menu column for more information about this.
The author of the present site, Erik Sandewall, is the executive member of the program's Steering Committee. Please note, however, that any opinions that may be expressed here are only those of its author. The policies of the OpenAccess.se program are found on the official program webpage.
