Cognitive Autonomous Systems Laboratory
Individual Projects by CASL Members
The thesis projects of graduate students in CASL, in the
range from the M.Sc. thesis-work to a Ph.D. thesis, are
of the following kinds:
- Projects that build on, or complement the group's common
RDE system for the purpose of studying particular aspects of
robotics and/or dialog systems,
- Projects pertaining to basic software technology,
in particular in the area of lifecycle computing systems,
- Projects in the area of knowledge representation (KR), in
particular for representation of actions and change with or
without a spatial aspect.
Current and past thesis projects in the first two groups are
listed and described under the 'Systems Projects' item in the
top-line menu. Current and past thesis projects in the KR area
are listed and described under the 'KR Projects' item.
Individual work by the group leader (Erik Sandewall) on
lifecycle computing systems is presented under the heading
'SIA-Leonardo' in the top-line menu.
The projects in the basic software technology area are done in
conjunction with the
Software Renaissance group, headed by Anders Haraldsson,
in our division.
