Interaction design is a design field concerned with shaping and exploration of conditions for humans' interaction with, through and by means of designed digital products and services. The process of interaction design is, like any other design field, largely driven by a divergent search for innovative solutions by the use of sketching and prototyping. And like all design it strives for a balance between the useful, the appropriate and the beautiful. Interaction design is more about the experience of using a digital product or service, than it is about how it looks. It is about how digital products and services work, but not in themselves, but rather how they work for people.
