Rodric Rabbah is a Research Staff Member at IBM. His current research aims to create a single unified programming language and runtime system for computing on heterogeneous and reconfigurable architectures. In January of 2007, he co-taught a parallel programming course at MIT, with Prof. Saman Amarasinghe, using PLAYSTATION3 consoles as development platforms for student projects. Prior to joining IBM, he was a member of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT where he was a leading contributor to StreamIt, a domain specific language and compiler for stream programming.
