Venue

The conference venue is at Piperska Muren in central Stockholm, Sweden (map). Hotel Amaranten is located at the conference facility.

Please download the hotel booking form (PDF), fill it in using Acrobat Reader, print it, sign it, and fax it to +46 8 751 1793. The reservations will be satisfied as long as there are rooms available.

How to reach the venue and hotels

Hotel Amaranten

To reach the hotel from the airport

Take the airport bus to Stockholm central. Then you can walk from the exit at Klarabergsviadukten via Kungsholmsgatan to the hotel (~15 min walk).

You can also reach the place by taking the metro (blue line). Enter from Vasagatan, take the metro direction Akalla, Hjulsta. Go off at the first stop (Rådhuset). Walk from there (Schelegatan) to the hotel (total time with metro ~15 min).

To reach conference venue from hotel

Walk (2-3 min).

Hotel Arcadia

To reach the hotel from the airport

Take the airport bus to Stockholm central. Walk through the central station and enter the Metro at stop T-centralen. Take the Red line, the train to Mörby Centrum (NB! NOT the Ropsten train). Exit at stop Tekniska Högskolan (~10 min). Take the exit towards Odengatan (towards the front of the metro), and take the right exit. Walk along Valhallavägen towards Körbärsvägen (~5 min walk).

To reach conference venue from hotel

Take Metro from Tekniska Högskolan (direction Fruängen). Exit at T-centralen, change to the blue line (2-3 min walk inside the metro). Take the blue line direction Akalla, Hjulsta. Go off at Rådhuset (first stop). Walk along Schelegatan. Total time (~20-25 min).

Birger Jarl

To reach the hotel from the airport

Take the airport bus to Stockholm central. Walk through the central station and enter the Metro at stop T-centralen. Take the Green line, direction Hässelby strand. Go off at the second stop (Rådmansgatan), and walk from there (3 blocks ~10 minutes).

To reach conference venue from hotel

Walk to the Metro at Sveavägen (Rådmansgatan). Take the Metro, direction T-centralen, Hagsätra. Exit at T-centralen, change to the blue line (2-3 min walk inside the metro). Take the blue line direction Akalla, Hjulsta. Go off at Rådhuset (first stop). Walk along Schelegatan. Total time (~25-30 min).

You may also walk via Rådmansgatan/Sveavägen towards Tegnergatan. Follow Tegnergatan towards Schelegatan and the conference venue (total time ~30-40 min)

Transportation

From Stockholm Arlanda airport to the city centre

  • Flygbussarna (airport coaches)
    89 SEK one way, 170 SEK return, 40 min. travel time
  • Arlanda Express (express train)
    180 SEK one way, 340 SEK return, 20 min. travel time

From Stockholm Skavsta airport to the city centre

  • Flygbussarna (airport coaches)
    130 SEK one way, 199 SEK return, 90 min. travel time

From Stockholm Bromma airport to the city centre

  • Flygbussarna (airport coaches)
    60 SEK one way, 100 SEK return, 15 min. travel time
The Flygbussarna airport coaches can be combined with a taxi to your final destination at an additional fixed price of 115 SEK (up to four passengers within the city limits).
