Patrick Lambrix is the Deputy Director of the Division for Databases and Information Techniques (ADIT). He received his PhD in Computer Science from Linköping University in 1996.
His current research interests relate to the areas of

  • Semantic Web
  • Ontologies
  • Databases
  • Bioinformatics



Degree projects related to Computer Science (knowledge engineering and the Semantic Web) and/or the Life Sciences/Bioinformatics available.

NEWS: Valentina Ivanova, Patrick Lambrix, Steffen Lohmann and Catia Pesquita will organize VOILA 2016 - Visualization and Interaction for Ontologies and Linked Data, workshop on October 17 or 18, 2016, in Kobe, Japan, co-located with the 15th International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC 2016).

NEWS: Matthew Horridge, Patrick Lambrix, Bijan Parsia and Heiko Paulheim will organize CoDeS 2016 - International Workshop on Completing and Debugging the Semantic Web, on May 29 or 30, 2016, in Heraklion, Greece, co-located with the 13th Extended Semantic Web Conference (ESWC 2016).
